What experience does Frank bring to the Governing Body?

  • Frank was parent governor at St. Peter’s when his own two children attended during the 1990’s.
  • Teacher governor at Cardinal Newman, completing 25 yrs on their Governing Body before his retirement in 2010.
  • Frank was head of the Art and Design Department and Head of House, teaching a variety of subjects, including RE and some PE, at the former St. John’s and took up a Head of Year post at Cardinal Newman when the school opened in 1991, again teaching Art and Design, RE and some PE.
  • Has worked for the Rugby Football League for 29 yrs, both as an active match official, ending his career as a Super League touch judge in 2003, and more recently as a part-time match officials manager with responsibility for 40 touch judges who all operate at Championship club level.
  • Frank is also currently working part-time as Attendance Officer at Cardinal Newman
  • Frank's hobby is sport of all kinds and he still plays competitive league tennis… when knees and governing body meetings allow!
  • He is married to Rita, has two daughters and is granddad to Isaac and Darcey, and has lived in St. Peter’s parish since 1978.
  • Frank is active within the parish, helps with various Sacramental preparation programmes and reads in St. Peter’s Church, believing that the school is an integral part of our faith community.
