School Council

St. Peter's has a very active school council who meet regularly to discuss ways that we could improve our school and raise money, both for school funds and for our school charities. They hold events such as cake sales, sponsored events and food drives. In our last school council meeting, 2 members suggested that the school could raise money to make a quiet/reflective nature garden, where children can read, chat quietly and spend time being thoughtful together. The school council minutes are available on their display board.

Our school council has 16 members; 4 from yrs 2 and 6 and 2 from yrs 1, 3, 4 and 5.

Anti-bullying Week

During Anti-bullying Week St. Peter's School Council designed an Anti-bullying poster to make people aware of the various types of bullying, and what people can do if they find themselves in a bullying situation.
