Art and Design 4

Intent

The intention of our Art and Design curriculum is to ensure that all pupils develop skills and produce creative, imaginative work. Children at St. Peter’s explore their ideas and record their learning in portfolios and independent sketchbooks. The children explore the work of famous artists, designers and craft makers and evaluate different creative ideas in order to foster a love and appreciation of all forms of Art and Design. Children will progressively develop their confidence, proficiency and skills of a variety of techniques including: drawing, painting, 3D, printing, collage and digital media.
