Year 6 Healthy Living Assembly

Year 6 presented an assembly on Healthy Living. They spoke to us about how much sugar we should have each day - no more than 30 grams, which is only 6 teaspoons! We were also taught about how important it is to have a healthy, balanced diet. As well as eating healthily, they spoke to us about the importance of exercise and how there's not just one type of fitness, but four!

It's also important to have a healthy mind as well as a healthy body. Year 6 spoke to us about if we have any worries or anxiety, how important it is to speak to friends and family to help ourselves feel better. They also drove home the message of how important it is to have time away from devices and socila media and to make sure our minds can relax and have less stress!
