Liverpool Cathedral and Philharmonic KS2 Trip
KS2 visited Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral of Christ the King and the World Famous Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra.
The Cathedral visit supported the children's learning in Come and See and they learnt about the Stations of the Cross, as well as the importance of the colours within the Cathedral and its Chapels.
At the Philharmonic children watched and participated in a 'concert of the senses', even getting the opportunity to be conductors and to sing with the orchestra while doing sign language. Each piece of music they listed to was inspired by one of the five senses.
The day was a great experience for all!
