Stay Safe Team

The Stay Safe Team are a group of Year 5 children who volunteered to give advice and help all the children and adults to stay safe; both while they are at school and when they go home. We are always here if you have any worries or concerns that you would like to speak to us about. Throughout the year, we'll hold assemblies about important safety topics, and create posters for around school. Keep an eye out! Meanwhile, have a look at the Keeping Myself Safe page under the Pupils tab on the school website.

Stay Safe Team Introduction and Halloween Assembly

Our Stay Safe Team introduced themselves and their role. They informed the children that they are here to:

  • Support them with friendship issues
  • Give them advice or signpost them to the right person if they have a problem
  • Deliver informative assemblies throughout the year, including discussing themes such as Halloween, Road Safety, E-Safety, etc.
  • Come into KS1 and talk about why it is important to stay safe and how we can do this

With Halloween coming up during half term, the Stay Safe Team decided to help the children learn how to stay safe while Trick or Treating, icluding something of the things they must, and mustn't, do.
