St. Peter's Catholic Primary School

St. Peter's held their famous annual Chrsitmas assembly. The first half concentrated on the true meaning of Christmas, with readings from the Gospels and Recpetion acting out the story. It was very thoughtful, and a nice change of pace from all the festive hustle and bustle. The second half of the assembly was a bit more lively, especially after Mrs Lea announced "Hats on!" Reception sang 'When Santa Got Stuck Up the Chimney', Year 5 performed one of the songs that they had learned in Gospel, and, of course, we finished off by singing Slade! We had to perform it twice, just to make sure everyone had a chance to join in...
