St. Peter's Catholic Primary School

As part of our ongoing Collective Worship in school, and to help celebrate the Year of Prayer, each class at St. Peter's has a Prayer Bag for the children to use with their family at home. The Prayer Bag contains various resources for you to use and explore, such as prayers, rosary beads, a cross, a candle, coloured cloths to represent the Liturgical Year and a prayer book where you can write in your own prayers you have used, draw a picture related to what you prayed and thought about, or even write questions that you may wonder about. If you have items at home, such as ornaments, that you think may be suitable to display on your worship table, please feel free to use these too. You may even have your own Bible at home and share a piece of Scripture from it, or share a hymn that we sing at school from YouTube. When taking the Prayer Bag home, please share photos on Seesaw of what you did, any prayers you may have used, and what you shared in the class prayer book.
